At my second "real job", I was transfered to Chicago. We really enjoyed the Windy City. We were there during "Da Bears" Super days (Ditka, McMann, Peyton, Singletery, the Fridge, etc. and when the Bulls, lead by MJ, did the 3peat.
In 1995, the Wife was gone, the kids were gone & the dog died. So I bought a motorcycle & headed West... but I only got as far as MN... and here I am. PS I really miss the Dog.

We had good times, generally on weekends, & surprisingly we avoided any real trouble.
The 1/4 mile SE of town, The Q, Sams, the Fairgrounds, Coloseum, CS Ballroom are all stages for HS memories.
Winter '64, 5 or 6 friends rode with me in my NIBLER to see the Trashmen at the Cold Spring Ballroom. A blizzard developed, a Deputy set flares out at the hill outside Cold Sping. He suggested that I may not make it up... Ha, Traction to spare.
